The appointments, announced by the Atiku Media Office, named Alhaji Aliyu Bello as Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement and Dr. Victor Moses as Special Assistant on Community Engagement.

According to the statement, the appointments reflect Atiku’s commitment to expanding grassroots participation and deepening connections with communities across the country as political activities gather momentum ahead of the next electoral cycle.

Aliyu Bello, a journalist, entrepreneur, international trader, and grassroots politician, brings years of experience in public service and political mobilisation to his new role. He holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication as well as professional certifications in Leadership and Business Management.

Bello previously served two terms as Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, where he was involved in promoting youth participation in politics. He also served as Financial Secretary of the party in the state before joining the ADC.

The statement noted that his background in media, business, politics, and community engagement would help strengthen grassroots networks and encourage greater youth involvement in the political process.

Dr. Victor Moses, who was also appointed to the community engagement team, was described as a scholar, public affairs strategist, and entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience in strategic communication, behavioural research, political mobilisation, and grassroots outreach.

A holder of a Ph.D. in Psychology, Moses has served as National Publicity Secretary of the Atiku Support Organisation (ASO) since 2021, where he played a significant role in stakeholder engagement and mobilising support for the former vice president’s political aspirations.

The Atiku Media Office said the appointments were aimed at enhancing engagement with communities and stakeholders across the country while advancing the ADC’s vision and political objectives.

Atiku congratulated the two appointees and expressed confidence in their ability to contribute meaningfully to the movement’s outreach efforts.

The latest appointments come amid increasing political realignments and preparations by major political actors ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
