Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, and other notable figures in Nigeria’s political landscape have extended their condolences to the Yar’Adua family following the passing of their matriarch, Hajia Dada, who died yesterday at the age of 102 in her hometown, Katsina State.

Atiku Abubakar, in a statement, described Hajia Dada as a “remarkable woman” who lived a long and fulfilling life, leaving behind a legacy of love, care, and devotion to her family. He prayed for the repose of her soul and offered his sympathies to the Yar’Adua family.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State also expressed his condolences, praising Hajia Dada’s remarkable life span and her contributions to the development of her community.
He urged the Yar’Adua family to take solace in the fond memories of their late matriarch.
Other prominent politicians, including senators, members of the House of Representatives, and state governors, have also sent their condolences to the Yar’Adua family, paying tribute to Hajia Dada’s life and legacy.
Hajia Dada, the mother of late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, was a respected figure in Katsina State and beyond, known for her wisdom, kindness, and generosity. Her demise has been met with an outpouring of tributes and condolences from across Nigeria.
