The speaker at this year’s American University of Nigeria (AUN) Yola founder’s day, Mrs.Olufunke Iyabo Osibodu gave dozens of words in praising the efforts of Adamawa State Governor, Senator Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow for constructing new roads in the state.
“I’m shock this time around, I was in Yola some years ago but my coming around this my eyes were surprised to see the good development around the state capital done by this present administration “. She said
Iyabo who was the speaker and gave a keynote address to hundreds of people gathered at the Lamido Aliyu Musdafa commencement Hall of AUN in Yola during the college 11th annual founder’s day and special award ceremony.
Her keynote address which was centers on “Beyond oil…….. Sustainable development for Nigeria” where she unravel the looming dangers over the falling price of petroleum products in the international market.
According to her because Nigerians were over dependant on the sector she fore see a glaring dangers that the recession may take a much longer time before the country will come out of it.
She call on all stakeholders to put hands on deck to fight on the coming dangers that has placed the Youths in the country to look homeless.
