The Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management would hold it’s Mandatory Continuing Professional Development training, Induction and Investiture on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Lamido Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa Hall, College of Nursing and Midwifery Yola, Adamawa State, Northeast Nigeria.
Speaking to newsmen, Dr. Adamu Muhammad Dodo FIBDM, Member Governing Council of the Institute and Chairman Local Organising Committee, revealed that all arrangements have been made to ensure a hitch free event.
Dodo said that already Mr. Sukana Danjuma Tusha Registrar and Secretary to the council of the Institute has arrived Yola and was impressed with the level of preparation.
Dodo said the programme, which would be the 18th edition in the series with theme: “Managing the Challenges of Public Enterprises in the Provision of Goods and Services in Nigeria,” would be chaired by Prof. MD Madawaki the Dean Faculty of Management Sciences of the University of Maiduguri. While the President and Chairman of Council, Professor A. A. Aminu, would preside over the programme alongside other Governing Council Members and distinguished Fellows to include Mr. Dan Inuwa Iliya Director Training and Consultancy of the Institute, Dr. Abubakar Rufai, Dr Rukaiyatu Rufai, Amb Suleiman Babale Jibril the Talban Shall and Fellow Muhammed Ismail, among others.
“Dr. SY Ibrahim an Associate Professor with the Department of Public Administration, University of Maiduguri, Borno State, who is also a Fellow of the Institute, would be the guest speaker and facilitator at the programme slated to start at 9:30am,” Dodo said.
IBDFM is a non-profit training and research Institute, established and registered as a professional body in line with the provisions of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 1990 with the approval of the Federal Ministry of Education and the Federal Ministry of Justice. It is currently working assiduously towards the attainment of Chartered Status at the National Assembly.
