Babachir Sen Moallahyidi, other Adamawa stakeholders endorse Vrati for APC state Chairman

All Progressives Congress critical stakeholders in Adamawa have endorsed the aspiration of Honourable Vrati Nzonzo to be the state party Chairman.

The former secretary to the Government of the federation (SGF), Engr Babachir David Lawal is one of the party’s senior stakeholders who is jn the move to ensure Nzonzo is return elected on the coming state Congress, 16th October 2023

He told our correspondent that Vrati is the most qualified and reliable party man among the aspirants, other than him the party might not do much in 2023.

According to Lawal it’s high time the party should look inward by having people who can represent, lead and take the party to greater heights. He has seen the ability to deliver the party in Vrati Nzonzo.

David also based his reasons on the fact that the Adamawa Southern Senatorial District has not been properly carrying along in the past years since the party came to power with the area having nothing or little to power-sharing and inclusion.

“We can only get it right as a party when there is equity and Fair play to all people. Inclusion of the Numan Federation or Southern Senatorial zone in our party affairs will give us an edge to recollect the state from PDP.

“I have seen good virtues of leadership in the Young Man, his type is needed in reshaping the party system and my standing with him is because I understand his level of intelligence, his loyalty to the party is unwavering all these years.

“I have seen good leadership qualities in him that can lead APC to win thresholds elections come 2023,” Lawal said

He further said that the party with a good team under Vrati and a good Secretary like Musa Kamale is a perfect match for the party movement building to 2023 election.

Senator Ishaku Abbo, Senator Ahmad Abubakar Moallahyidi are other stakeholders who are sharing the same thoughts as Babachir.

When contacted, Senator Abbo (Cliff) opined that it’s cancerous and self-destructive if they fail to bring in Nzonzo on board as the chairman.

“We are talking of party coercion and cohesion to liberate Adamawa State, we are talking about who has the Lionheart to fight, defend the interest of all party members, we are talking about who can go anywhere to defend us. These are some of the reasons I support Vrati.

“Let me tell you among those aspiring for the Chairmanship seat if it’s not Vrati nobody can be able to deliver APC in the hands of PDP,” Cliff said
