Some suspected members of bandits have set ablaze a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) building in Zamfara State.
According to information gathered, the RCCG church, Jesus the Rock Parish, is located at Hayin Buba in the state capital, Gusau.
It was also learnt that Christ Intercessory and Miracle Church was also torched by the hoodlums.
A source from the church who pleaded anonymity said “The incident happened on Monday morning, but no life was lost, except that vital documents and other valuables were destroyed in the incident”, he said.
Recall that bandits had issued a quit notice to Christians in Zamfara, saying that failure to yield would lead to attacks.
