Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has reassured the public of his dedication to upholding the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) reputation and integrity. Speaking at the PDP North-East Zonal Caucus meeting, Mohammed emphasized the importance of unity and focus within the party, particularly in the North-East zone, which he noted is one of the least divided zones.


As the chairman of PDP governors, Mohammed highlighted the various projects and programs being implemented to align with the people’s aspirations and strengthen the party.
The party’s commitment to tackling internal challenges and repositioning itself for a strong comeback in the 2027 elections was reiterated by Committee Chairman Olagunsoye Oyinlola.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa also praised the reconciliation efforts, stressing that unity and collective action are necessary to restore the party’s leadership position. He urged aggrieved members to engage in dialogue to resolve disputes and move forward.

This development comes as the PDP is working to overcome its internal conflicts, including the recent crisis between Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, which has factionalized the party’s National Working Committee.
