The Chief Press Secretary to Governor Hyacinth Alia, Mr. Tersoo Kula, has rebuked member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Andrew Agbese, representing Okpokwu/Ogbadibo and Ohimini Federal Constituency, over his persistent derogatory remarks.

The legislator described the Government of Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia as a “den of demons

Mr. Kula spoke to journalists during a press conference in Makurdi yesterday, expressing disapproval of Agbese’s frequent derogatory attitudes against his boss. He recalled, with dissatisfaction, that the House of Representative member recently turned down the portrait of Governor Alia while making uncomplimentary statements, which were deemed unbecoming of his status.

According to Mr. Kula, a few days ago, the legislator described the Government of Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia as a “den of demons,” a statement that left much to be desired, considering his position. He noted, with nostalgia, that someone in Agbese’s position should attract development to his constituents, but instead, he’s doing the opposite without any apparent reason.

Mr. Kula wondered aloud who was behind these individuals, prompting them to cast aspersions against his boss, the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia. He called on Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, to intervene and caution those fomenting trouble.
