In his efforts to further the cause of Nigerian sports, most especially in the area of Table Tennis, the Nigerian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, His Excellency Kevin Peter visited Havirov City in the interest of Nigeria’s talented Youth in tennis.
Peter said his visit to Havirov City is a further discussion on how Nigeria and the Czech Republic’s possible cooperation in the field of sports, Specifically Table Tennis will be well harnessed.
The Czech Republic is a country with international winnings in Tennis sport Kevin found it an area Nigeria and the host country will relate for the Youths to expand their tennis skills.
Peter met with the Deputy Mayor of Havirov, Mr. Ondreji Baranek, and the city management team, Mr. Nicolas Endal the Chairman of the Havirov Table Tennis Sports club discussed that many Nigerian Youths are tennis talented.
He said there are going to be many benefits if the two countries will partner in the game of table tennis.
“After fruitful discussions on how to explore cooperation in both Football and Table Tennis we all proceeded to inspect the City football Stadium and the Czech Republic National Table Tennis Training Centre, which is the City’s Pride, that was recently opened and its parameters are comparable to the most modern sports facilities for national Table Tennis centers in Europe.
“Nigeria has exceptionally qualitative professional Table Tennis players that need to expand their horizons. Soon an invitation will be extended to the leadership of our Nigeria Table Tennis for more discussions.” Kevin said
