BINDOW EMBARKS ON STREETS LIGHTENING PROJECT OF ADAMAWA STATE

The Executive Governor of Adamawa state, Senator Muhammadu Jibrilla Umaru Jibrilla Bindow embarks on a streets project in the state known as “light up Adamawa”.

The project has started weekend where a 12km road commissioned with street lights at Mubi, one of the economy boom and the second largest city in the state.

Bindow being the first Governor to start a project of this magnitude outside the state capital promised to make sure that every town in Adamawa is beautify with streets light.

He emphasized that the street lighting project goes beyond beautification of towns but a strategy to tackle the daunting challenge of security threats by hoodlums and other nefarious people who carry out their evil acts at night and security agencies will now carry out their duties with ease even at odd hours.

He called on the people of Mubi North and Mubi South to secure and maintain the project for the benefit of all.

While commissioning people from all works of life in Mubi town were massively out to celebrate and congratulate the Governor for lighting up Mubi.

The commissioning ceremony was witnessed by the speaker of the Adamawa State house of assembly, Rt Hon Kabiru Mijinyawa, the Emir of Mubi, member representing Mubi North and Mubi South at the National Assembly, members of Mubi north and Mubi south at the state house of assembly, chairmen of Mubi North and Mubi south, commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, and many sons and daughters of Mubi.

The speaker commended Governor Bindow for embarking on people oriented projects and promised continued support by the state assembly.

Others who spoke at the commissioning were full of praises and prayed for the Governor to keep up the good work he is doing across the state.
