The unresolved Crisis of the Adamawa State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has compelled the immediate past Governor of the state, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow to tendered his letter of resignation and seizes to be a member of the ruling party.
Bindow who finally break the silence over the much noise and rumors about him leaving the party was contain in a formal letter addressed to the chairman of APC in his Kolere ward, Mubi North Local Government area of Adamawa state.
Bindow in the letter said the painful decision was taken after deep prayers and wide consultations with family members, stakeholders and faithful followers within and outside Adamawa state.
He said the unfortunate event of the 2019 general election and the 2022 Governorship primaries among many reasons remains the main crux of why is resigning from APC.
Bindow worried that lack of genuine reconciliation with aggrieved stakeholders within the party in Adamawa state since the last Primaries is also his reason he finds APC no longer his comfortable home of stay.
His resignation has laid to rest many rumors of disowning APC building to 2023 general election.
The formal letter made available to TG NEWS in Yola quoted Bindow to have said:
“While thanking you and the party, I wish to also inform you that my faithful supporters will be joining me across the state in leaving the party so as to Champion a cause of building a harmonious Adamawa state that will enshrine unity in our diversity toward a collective development as a people.” Bindow said
The former Governor who in his resignation letter however did not mention the political party join, but this medium has gathered that he will be rejoining the People’s Democratic party (PDP) to continue his political activities.
Already a political group flown in his name as “Bindow Support Group” (BSG) has since began political activities across the state in support the presidential bid of Atiku Abubakar and the Governor of the state, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
