Some All Progressives Congress, APC, bigwigs in Adamawa state have resolved to work in harmony as one indivisible family to oust the present government of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) under the leadership of Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as the seating Governor.
The APC senior men consider the removal of Ahmadu as the target goal of their 2023 general election knowing the fact that APC in 2019 was the brain behind his winning election.
Their decision is coming when many sons and daughters of the party are aspiring to contest the Governorship position of Adamawa State.
One of the party’s founding member at the National level and the former Secretary to the Government of the federation, Engr David Babachir Lawal in strong terms said APC is checking out PDP in 2023.
David, a big shot of the party in Adamawa state gave a worded assurance of chasing PDP immediately they announced winning LG elections in all the 21 local government areas.
The announcement of the election Lawal said is a PDP long organized and concluded election which he described as a sham exercise.
For this development, Lawal reiterated how the party is becoming more formidable to remove Fintiri in office.
“I saw the governor on Facebook claiming he has killed APC.
“His talk of having killed APC in the Saturday sham Local Government election is foolish. If he were a brave person as he seems to claim, he would have allowed election materials to reach the polling units. But out of fear of losing he couldn’t take the risk so there was no election. At least in Hong LGA, there was none.
“The Governor can humor himself all he can but the APC he will face in 2023 is so formidable that he might regret having wasted his money in a re-election bid.” He said
Dahiru Bobbo is another Party bigwig who intimated this medium their game plan of asking PDP to leave the Dougirei Government House to come 2023.
In Dahiru’s words, he stated that: ” we are more than able, we are capable to bring APC back, it is our time now, we gave them our power because of our perceived lingered and unresolved disagreement. But now we have resolved, we are one and together to give out our fight for a unilateral goal- which is to remove PDP and bring in APC in power ”
The rising hope happened when aspirants like Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow declared to contest the governorship seat of the state.
Bindow’s formally declaration have a huge impact on the return of APC to power in the coming 2023.
Jibrilla who is the immediate past Governor of the state declared his interest amidst many cheers and celebration, with supporters welcoming the idea to be long overdue.
To many party loyalists they are seeing Bindow as the only Man that can fight back in total deliverance and emancipation of APC members and development of the State.
