Birthday: Nigerian Youth should stand firm to defend their votes in 2023-Northern Christian Youth leader calls

Nigerian Youths were called to shun all social vices and stand strong in making sure the coming 2023 general election becomes a success.

The Chairman of 19 Northern states of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (Youths wing), Pst George Oaya has made the call today while marking his 2022 birthday anniversary.

Mr. Oaya said the 2023 general election is a deciding factor that can mar or make the younger generation have a better or bad future.

As such he enjoined them to be wise on how they go about casting their votes as the far-reaching consequences can be disastrous if they end up wasting their PVCs to wrong candidates.

George while praying to God to answer his birthday wishes by presenting him with a gift of a united peaceful Nigeria, the Youth Leader advised the Christian Youths to dominate all political parties of their choices as it is highly time for them to actively involve in politics.

He enjoined them to be focused and discern the coming elections with the heart of wisdom of who to vote for.

Calling on them to shun all social vices, and run away from money-bags politicians who do not have what it takes to lead.

According to Oaya the result of voting in bad leaders will make them have a bleak future and their Destiny will be thwarted by the bad choices they make.

“I thank God today is my birthday and I’m returning all glory to Him. My only prayer that I kneeled asking God is a peaceful and United Nigeria from now to the 2023 election and beyond.

” I also used the moment to ask God to bless our Youth and I called on them to be good ambassadors of the nation wherever they are or they will be.

“Above all, I’m calling on them to stand firm to guard their PVCs wisely, keep in mind to vote in a good leader that will change the course of their destiny. Let them not involve in what will make them engage in all social vices.

” I pray God to give us a Nigeria of our dreams, where our Youths will be agents of positive change and true leaders of today, not tomorrow,” Oaya said

He also said that his birthday will be marked by praying for the church, visiting the orphanage homes in Yola and Jimeta, and with a visit to a few Widows, the less privileged within the community.
