Education Minister, Professor Mamman Tahir was extolled as a patriotic Nigerian who is passionate about the current state of the sector and vowed to bring transformation that will reshape, rejig, and rejuvenate the system to the world standard.
His personal assistant (PA), Mr Bitrus Musa (God’s Wonder) who has closely worked with him for over three decades said Tahir is a genius with excellent leadership skills and corporate ideas that will touch positively everyone in the country.
Musa said to mark his birthday anniversary which he considered a privilege to serve under the tutelage of Tahir, Adamawa-born Educationist is to appreciate him for being his mentor.
According to him, Tahir for over four decades has garnered the requisite knowledge and vast experience in managing facilities, resources, and curricula in both tertiary and other systems of education.
He,, therefore called on Nigerians to trust the Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to give the best in all sectors, especially in the area of Education which Tahir is spearheading its course.
Musa who was a seasoned Banker turned Politician said the experience of Tahir as an astute Lawyer who earned the senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) honors and became a professor of Law remains an idea of transformation for the good of the sector.
He extolled Mamman as a sound Education administration and recalled how he became Deputy Director General of Nigeria Law School and later Director General of Nigeria Law School in Abuja and Yola respectively.
According to him the journey of Tahir from academics to politics has been an education race of excellent haven worked with the University of Maiduguri as Dean of Students Affairs and finally as Vice Chancellor of Baze University Abuja.
He called on Nigerians to support the present administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu whose mandate of renewed hope Tahir helping to pilot well.
The Young politician further reiterated that the humanity nature of Tahir is in his love to build a strong educational system for the country.
While thanking God for giving him life by adding another Year to his years, Musa honestly appreciated Tahir for allowing him to work for Nigerians.
“All through my life, I lived to see this Man as a burden lifter and career of people’s burden especially in the area of Education. As I mark my day, it’s my prayer for God to keep him safe, healthier, stronger agile, and fit for the service of the nation and humanity in general.
“Thank you Sir for being a Father, a leader, and a hope to Young Nigerians,” Musa said
