The Anglican Bishop of Yola Diocese, Most Rev. Marcus Ibrahim Amfani has commiserated with the family of former Nigerian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Late Wilberforce Bafte Juta and encouraged them to take solace in the Lord.
Late Juta died on Saturday 15th August, 2020 at the Federal Medical Centre, Yola after a brief illness.

In a condolence message personally signed by Amfani, who is also the Archbishop of Jos province extends his heartfelt condolence to the Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Christian community and people of the state over the loss of a father, mentor and a humble servant of God
“Though, it is very hard to believe that late Juta is no more, and i am very sure his family might be going through the most difficult phase of their lives, but the God of all comfort will console them.
It has been a great pleasure of knowing late Amb. Wilberforce Juta as a person before his death. He was such a gem of a person, who has served his creator to the best of his ability while on earth, there is no doubt his presence will always be missed.
Late Juta was a Board Chairman of the Government House Chapel and the former Governor of the defunct Gongola State, his presence will be greatly missed not only to his family, but to the Anglican Diocese of Yola and our Province as well and the government of Adamawa State.
On behalf of our people I sent our heartfelt condolences to the family and I also prayed that God will grant the deceased eternal rest and his family the grace to bear the loss, the statement reads.
