The Church in Grace International (CIG) has extended a cordial invitation to the public for a significant milestone event: the New Cathedral Ground Breaking Ceremony and Special Thanksgiving Service, scheduled to take place on Saturday, 2nd May 2026.

The ceremony, which will be led by Bishop Hebron Nzonzo, is set to commence at 9:00 AM at the Church Auditorium located at Km 1 Sabon Garri Road, Mararraba, in Dakanta Demsa LGA, Adamawa State.
This event represents a pivotal moment in the church’s growth and expansion, symbolizing faith, perseverance, and divine strength as the congregation prepares to break ground for a new cathedral.
The biblical declaration “For by strength shall no man prevail” from 1 Samuel 2:9b underscores the spiritual foundation of this project, emphasizing reliance on God’s power rather than human effort alone.
Bishop Hebron Nzonzo brings a message of hope and thanksgiving to the occasion.
The service will combine celebration with spiritual reflection, giving thanks for past faithfulness while looking forward to the future home of worship.
Church in Grace International, under the leadership of Bishop Nzonzo, continues to make impactful strides in the spiritual landscape of Adamawa State and beyond.
The new cathedral is expected to serve as a larger space for worship, community gatherings, and outreach programs, accommodating the growing membership of the church.
Members of the public, dignitaries, and neighboring congregations are warmly invited to join this historic occasion. The event promises to be a time of joy, worship, and communal blessing as the church takes this bold step of faith.
