The Federal Lawmaker representing Gombi/Hong at the National Assembly, Honourable Yusuf Buba Yakubu has visited two Communities in his Constituency who were recently attacked by Boko Haram killers and Herdsmen.
Buba was in Garkida town on Thursday and commiserated with the people over the lost of lives, properties worth millions of Naira destroyed by the insurgents.
While donating trucks loaded with assorted food items to the community,he consoled them that Government is working round clock and making serious efforts to bring to nothing the activities of insurgents Boko Haram members killing people in the country.
In his words of console, Buba said:” I have come to sympathise with you and to comfort you that you are not alone in this pains, the entire world is concern over the recent attacks by the Boko Haram group and the Government is not slack in wading off the problem. ”
He condemned the coward behaviors of the wayward group in the name of religion,as according to him no religion on Earth is permitted to do such an evil act to humanity.
The assorted food items worth millions of Naira, Yakubu said is to help in ameliorating their immediate needs of food and other basic essentials as there are bigger plans by government for them in a Sooner possible time.
Yusuf who is the Chairman House Community on foreign affairs was taken to many scenes of the attack in Garkida where properties of the oldest General Hospital built in the 20s for the entire constituency,places of worship, Houses of prominent sons and daughters of the community were destroyed.
In his visit to Holma Community of Hong LGA who suffered from Herdsmen attack ,he lamented the lingering killing of innocent people over nothing by the Herdsmen.
He assured them on an end to the incessant attacks as Government are taken stringent measures.
