Respect and Loyalty are earned, they are not negotiated, they cannot be lobbied or paid for but earned through a courteous gesture, it can come from the high or lowly, Might or feeble, rich or poor, the elites or the common big or small. And to the matured ones they reciprocated it through a sustain relationship.
I’m simply trying to say Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, who is the executive Governor of Adamawa state has undoubtedly earned my respect. How does it earned my respect?
This is a Man drove to my house in a good Sunday after I must have had a nice time with my creator in a moment of worship, here comes an August visitor humbly sad down in my parlour looking down to earth. Reads his words :
“Tom Garba sorry for coming to your house without informing you, but you see I came for one thing,believe you me I really want to transform this state despite the ills of Boko Haram and economy recession lynching us in this country. I want to leave a legacy. I want to work and give Adamawa a new name. please and please and support me,you have followed us during my campaign days, I had given my promises and my words to Adamawa people, I want to make sure i fulfill all the campaigns promises I have made to them. ”
This was my replied to him :
“Sir, I’m most privilege and honour to have you in my little home, you are just few months in office and have even beginning to be heard all over the country, it shows you are really out for work.
“You are my Subordinate and I’m your subject, for the simple fact that you come to my house and pleaded to support you to succeed in your administration, I shall certainly do it without thinking twice. If you really can work for the people that brought you to power then surely I can do anything within my strength to support your Government ”
I consider this moment so conspicuous and apt to reply a post made by Mustapha Atiku Ribadu over the social media,haven red the write up he tagged to me,wanting to know in a “Yes” affirmative or “No” in a nay affirmative that:
“JUST ANSWER ME, YES OR NO.
The most popular promoter of Bindow led government on social media is a Christian brother Mr. Tom Garba,yes or no?
Tom had popular block Total and general news, all the total news is about Sen Bindow Jibrilla and his government, yes or no?
Tom Garba was the one who created or abi manufactured the pseudo Donatus Adamu Jada, and had an interview with the “Ghost” just to defend Bindow, before I unveiled the fiction, yes or no?
When Tom Garba created “Ghost” Donatus and made a wonderful write up, all the Co #ipadians kept sharing and reposting the news, yes or no?
None of the Ipadians can write as good as Tom Garba, yes or no?
Apart from my younger brother Nuruddeen Kama none of the ipadians can fully understand what Tom Garba writes, yes or no?
He is the most visible Christian #ipadian, yes or no?
All the appointed are muslims, so we can conveniently say he is denied the appointment because of his faith, yes or no?”
Base on my initial submission I want to equivocally say that I must forever respect Governor Bindow for his down to earth nature of coming to my house beseeching me to support his government. Of a truth I don’t have any excuse not to do what he want me to do. “He’s my Subordinate and I’m his subject”
I’m doing what I’m doing not to seek for recognition, I’m not doing it to be paid but I’m doing it because Bindow is touching the lives of many In the state.
I equally red it on the social media that the working Governor has magnanimously gave an appointments to four people that I consider my younger brothers, to be fair to them, they are really trying in promoting this government. If I should have my ways I can double their salaries. As such I congratulate you guys, I pray it will bring the best in you in supporting our amiable Governor.
Let me still say it without fair or favor,I understand the point of view of the writer, you see I’m doing what I’m doing because I find satisfaction and fulfilment in it. I m really comfortable the way I’m (Allah ya bani wadatan zuchi). It’s part of my job and I don’t beg for a Kobo from any one to do my job. With or without the appointment that does not change my person,im bend in preaching the good news about Bindow.
Again I want to appreciate you my good friend,Mustapha Atiku Ribadu alias Prof, who i had known for close to two decades,haven been school mates back then in FUTY. Atiku is my close allies during our days in the university as cob unionist and was fun to always be together. Tagging me of this story in his facebook wall I think is trying to show a sort of a concern, Sir I’m here telling you Makunah Matata -Don’t worry about me, I’m fine and all is well.
He knows me with one thing: I’m always opinionated Man with an independent Mind glue to my view,not afraid of any body even if it means standing alone, as I have always known him to be a Man of his own views too.
Going through the comments made by his friends and followers I apparent noticed a perceive feelings that is almost becoming a crime to my personality,that is: “Is afraid I might begin to insult elders if they turn up not given me the appointment.”
In the first place Sir I was not doing what I’m doing to get an appointment. And at my age, the level of my exposure and education had bland me to stoop law by either attacking or abusing people over the social media. I have a name, I’m a discipline child coming from a discipline home, I’m too big to trade words of wars with people over the social media. Go through my postings one will notice that I only post and not minding who is reading it and who is not. The highest I do is to sigh “Hmmmm” or rarely comments on others post. I learn one thing in life some one’s opinion is sacrosanct,so respecting people’s opinions and views is wisdom.
Another issue what one Mista Ibrahim Ali commented,if I get him well is saying that we parted ways with Governor Bindow. In the first place I was never in any way close to Bindow, I wonder his statements a times ,how he martial them without any cognisance reasoning to convince one.

Above all religion I think is not a yardstick judgment of good performance, as such we should not foster it to cause cracks in our dear state. Be you a Christian or Muslim the people should feel only the impact that you are a good Man.
Yeah! bowing for Bindow,he is a Brook Of Work at least Adamawa is changing, the encouragement of making me to support him.
