The Lawmaker representing Mubi South in the Adamawa House of Assembly, Honourable Musa Umar (Bororo) has dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) and align his political loyalty to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Bororo based his reasons for the defection as lack of fairness and inclusion in the just concluded APC ward congress meted against him by party bigwigs.

The lawmaker in an interview with an online local Media Tgnews quoted him saying he have left APC the party that brought him to power to contest the Senatorial seat of the Adamawa Northern senatorial District in PDP.

He shifted blames to some APC officials to have excluded him in the scheme of things over what is happening in the party system.

He praised Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to be a good Governor who is carrying him along and giving him more considerations in all does.

He vowed to work for PDP and the Governor who has taken development of roads construction to his constituency.

“I m tired in the injustice that’s in the APC family, they have been excluding me in so many of their functions, I have gone, gone to PDP for good,” Bororo said

In his reaction, the assistant publicity secretary, Alhaji Mohammed Mayas said party-wise they have not been considering Bororo as someone who is a loyal APC party man for a very long time.

According to him long ago, immediately after his inauguration, Musa has joined PDP with his spirit and soul only his valueless body is dangling in APC.

“For a very long time he has not been part of us and we have known that before now, he sold our mandate in a cheap platter of gold which does not border us a bit. It’s an anticipated move and never a surprise to anyone of us in APC

” We are comfortable with his exit, he was not adding value to our great party and we are happy he has gone with his poor representation, now we know we have a vacant place for a most qualified person to occupy who will deliver the good mandate of APC to Adamawa people.” Mayas said
