Information reaching TG NEWS.COM.NG says that the All Progressives Congress Bow To Pressure Replaces Running Mate
The Katsina State APC Gubernatorial Candidate, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, has nominated Honorable Faruk Lawal Jobe, as his running mate.
A statement signed by the chairman Gwagware Media Organisation, Abdulkadir Ahmed, indicated that the decision followed the voluntary withdrawal of the former running mate earlier nominated, Alhaji Yusuf Aliyu Musawa.
“Alhaji Yusuf Aliyu Musawa withdrew from the race voluntarily after wide consultations with relevant stakeholders,” the statement read in part.
Jobe is the current Commissioner, Budget Economic Planning in Katsina State, who contested the governorship seat in the state but lost to Radda at the primary elections.
He was, however, reappointed by Governor Aminu Masari to his position as Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning.
