The House of representatives Member in the national assembly, Hon Ja’afar Magaji representing Mubi North, Mubi South, and Maiha Federal constituency of Adamawa State has won his case at the Yola Court of appeal.
Ha’afar appealed a Federal High Court Judgment annulling as the substantive candidate of APC for the Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha Federal constituency.
In the ruling by His Lordship, Hon Justice H A O Abiru set aside the Federal High court Judgment that annulled the primary that made Ja’afar own a ticket of the All Progressives Congress Party.
According to Justice Abiru Hon Abubakar Danmasani, Sadiq Mana, and Mahmuf Sali as plaintiffs challenged the authenticity of Ja’afar as the winner of the APC primary election held in Mubi last year.
In his ruling, Abiru said the delegates that voted for Ja’afar are confirmed delegates from the party and the Plaintiffs didn’t prove their case to that effect.
