Breaking News: El-Rufai Dumps APC, Joins SDP

Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and joined the Social Democratic Party (SDP), citing irreconcilable differences with the ruling party’s leadership.

In a statement released Monday, El-Rufai, a key APC founder, expressed dismay over the party’s deviation from its progressive roots over the past two years.

“I must seek another platform for the values I cherish,” he declared, confirming his immediate exit after submitting his resignation to his Kaduna ward.
