Mohammed Umaru Bindow Jibrilla, former Governor of Adamawa State (2015-2019) and ex-Senator for Adamawa North (2011-2015), has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Bindow formalized his membership by registering and collecting his ADC card in Mubi North Local Government Area.

Social media updates today confirm Bindow’s transition to the ADC, positioning him as a key figure in the party’s mobilization efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.
His move strengthens the ADC’s growing influence in Adamawa, following the recent defection of prominent figures like former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and APC’s 2023 governorship candidate, Senator Aisha Binani, to the opposition coalition.
