President Bola Tinubu has made a significant move to boost rural electrification in Nigeria by appointing Abba Abubakar Aliyu as the substantive Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA).
With his extensive experience in the energy sector, including his previous role as the Head of the Nigeria Electrification Project (NEP) at the REA, Aliyu is well-equipped to tackle the challenges facing the agency
This appointment is a crucial step towards enhancing energy access and promoting sustainable development in underserved communities across the country.
