The lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Musiliu Akinremi (Jagaban), is reportedly dead.
An Ibadan-based online platform, OyoInsight, broke the sad news of the sudden demise of the All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmaker.
The platform claimed that Hon. Akinremi’s colleagues, who spoke with its Correspondent, expressed disbelief about the lawmaker’s passage.
Some other sources said that he died earlier this morning at a hospital in Jabi, Abuja.
Efforts to reach his media aide to speak on the matter proved abortive.
A popular politician in Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Ismaila Asipa, has taken to the social media to mourn the late lawmaker.
