A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Peter Obi and some Senators from the South-East are in a closed-door meeting with Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State.
Reliable sources said that the meeting is going on at the Bauchi State Government House.
Obidient Movement’s National Coordinator, Yunusa Tanko said Obi came with his team, which included some Southeast senators.
“Obi came with his team from the Southeast which included some Southeast senators. We are in Bauchi right now and the pictures and details will soon be out,” Tanko said.
This is coming as the Bauchi Governor is said to be shopping for another political party to defect to following his decision to dump the Peoples Democratic Party.
It’s widely believed that the Governor Mohammed may eventually settle for the ADC.
