Breaking: PRIAM Group shuts down Atiku’s communication Company over Financial challenges

Over what it described as Financial Challenges and hard times, PRIAM Group closed down the communication company of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

A staff of the company who confided in this medium said they were all addressed today by Emmanuel Sunday PRRIAM Human Resource Manager and gave prior notice of sacking them from 1st July.

Atiku who is the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, candidate closed down Gotel TV & Gotel AM Radio by ordering staff to remain at home with 25% salaries.

Atiku was in Yola today for the Eid-el Kabir Sallah celebration and broke out the saddest news with many of them lamenting how their salaries to are not been paid for months.

Our sources however revealed that from Saturday 1st July only Gotel FM will remain fully operational with fifteen staff who will be earning full salaries.

An unconfirmed report from another quarter indicated that Gotel staff who are expected to commence ‘Sit at Home’ with 25% salaries from 1 July 2023; will embark on a street walk chanting ‘Pay us our entitlements.

The sources said PRIAM Group is owing Gotel staff four months salaries, two years leave & transport grant, severance package of previous retrenchment, among other entitlements.

Atiku’s Son, Shehu who is one of the top managing Staff refuted the shutting them of the organisation and inferred that the company need an overhaul and to do that, they are cutting down time that media organisations will be airing their programs.

“We are trying to modernize the organisation after discussing with some foreign partners

“So if it means reducing scale of operations to reorganize the place how does that amount to shutting down the business?” Shehu said

He called on customers and listeners to disregard the news of shutting down.
