The academic community has been thrown into mourning with the news of the passing of Professor Kharisu Chukkol, a distinguished Professor of Criminal Law at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU).
Prof Chukkol was an impactful lecturer who shaped our youthful years as young students
Prof Chukkol was widely respected for his impactful teaching and mentorship, which shaped the lives of numerous students, including a former student who took to social media to express their sadness and gratitude.
“Prof Chukkol was an impactful lecturer who shaped our youthful years as young students,” the former student wrote. “When I returned to ABU later in my career, he also supervised my LLM dissertation.”
The former student prayed for the repose of Prof Chukkol’s soul, saying “May Allah repose his soul, amen.”
