The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will convene for an emergency plenary session this Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio has directed all senators to reconvene for the urgent sitting.
In a statement issued by the Clerk of the Senate, Emmanuel Odo, lawmakers are instructed to be in attendance by 12:00 PM prompt.
Further details on the agenda of the emergency session are yet to be disclosed.
