Scores were feared killed in Zah Community of Garaha ward, Hong Local Government area of Adamawa State as armed men suspected to be members of Boko Haram stormed the area.
An eyewitness who simply identified herself as Bege said Zah and Garaha are now under commotion.
According to her churches and Houses were burnt down and people are said to be running helter-skelter.
She confirmed that soldiers were said to have rushed down to Zah to chase the Boko Haram.
She worried that Garaha is not safe as the Boko Haram members were reportedly seen running down to the communities of Garaha.
Efforts to reach out to the military information officer of the 23 armor brigade in Yola were not possible to confirm the development.
