Buba @ 51:I asked God to give me a willing heart to serve humanity

Upon his called to serve humanity at all levels and capacity in life, the House of Representative Lawmaker representing the Federal Constituency of Hong/Gombi at the National Assembly, Hon Yusuf Captain Buba Yakubu said that the remaining part of his life would be completely dedicated to the serving and development of humanity.

According to Captain,his desires is to see himself an empowerment pillar of the downtrodden,the less privileged and the neglected in the societies have a destiny sensed direction in life.

Buba said this through a press statement signed by his media aide,Nkem Anyata-Lafiya and made available to Tgnews reporter in Abuja to mark his 51st Birthday celebration,stating his heart desperation prayers and total being is to give back to the society what he is privilege to have by God.

The Federal lawmaker while expressing his heart full of gratitude to God for making him what he is today through humanity,he pledged to rededicate his remaining years to the development of mankind as an act of service to Him.

Hon Yusuf said this in received of the members Management Committee of Captain Buba Yakub Foundation ,led by the Country Rep,Ms Hajara Jalo ,paid him a courtesy visit as part of events lined up to mark his 51st Birthday Tuesday morning.

The Adamawa-born lawmaker,who is also Chairman, House Committee on Foreign Affairs,used the occasion to express gratitude to God and to all his associates in politics and business whose love,support and prayers,he said ,had in all these years been his staying power.

Honourable Buba said:
“I feel quite grateful to God and to you all for yet another opportunity to take stock of my life and see how I have fared in the last 365 days. Unlike other years,however,this year’s Birthday will be a low-key one. We are only marking my Birthday ,but not celebrating it. I have decided to dedicate this year’s Birthday to all those protecting us at all the theatres of conflict across the Northeast Zone and the entire country,including all the downtrodden people of our land.

” And,in line with the sombre mood that pervades our national horizon now,I shall merely use the occasion of this Birthday to observe a quiet time with my immediate family, visit one or two Children’s Homes,the hospital and,if time permits,a prison. Those are the people and places I desire to share this important phase of my life ,life after 50,with.”

The entrepreneur-turned-politician also used the occasion to inform all well-wishers and those wishing to join him in celebrating his new age to do so by sparing a thought and a gift for the less-privileged people among us.

Among those who were present to wish the Gombi/Hong Representative well on his Birthday were his wife,Mrs Nancy Buba,Ms Hajara Jalo,some official Aides to the lawmaker and a host of others who took the opportunity of their visit to eulogise him on his resounding achievements since taking over the mantle of representation at the National Assembly.
