A heartbreaking appeal has been made by Mr. Camaru Lateef Ogida, a businessman from Ondo State, who is battling a life-threatening kidney-related ailment. Diagnosed in 2022, Ogida has been undergoing dialysis three times a week, incurring a staggering monthly cost of N1.5 million.

The financial burden has taken a devastating toll on Ogida’s resources, forcing him to sell some of his belongings to keep up with the expenses. Despite his efforts, doctors have now recommended an urgent kidney transplant, as dialysis is no longer effective.

I am soliciting for your assistance so I will be able to live again

In a poignant video recorded from his hospital bed, Ogida made a passionate appeal to the public, seeking generous donations to cover the N52 million cost of the transplant. “I am soliciting for your assistance so I will be able to live again,” he pleaded.

Ogida’s family and friends are rallying around him, but the financial burden is overwhelming. To support Ogida’s kidney transplant, donations can be made to his United Bank for Africa account (1004892109) in the name of Lateef Ogidan.

The public’s assistance is crucial in helping Ogida access the life-saving treatment he desperately needs. Every donation counts, and Ogida’s family is grateful for any support that can be provided during this challenging time.
