Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has dismissed five members of his cabinet, with no official reason given for their removal. However, sources suggest that the affected commissioners were let go due to underperformance over the past year.
The affected commissioners include Chrysanthus Dawam of Budget and Economic Planning, Noel Nkup of Youth and Sports, Jamila Tukur of Tourism and Hospitality, Obed Goselle of Science and Technology, and Sule Musa of Commerce and Industry
The Secretary to the Government of Plateau State, Architect Samuel Jatau, confirmed the development in a statement, and the governor wished the former appointees success in their future endeavors. The affected commissioners include Chrysanthus Dawam of Budget and Economic Planning, Noel Nkup of Youth and Sports, Jamila Tukur of Tourism and Hospitality, Obed Goselle of Science and Technology, and Sule Musa of Commerce and Industry.
It’s worth noting that Chrysanthus Dawam and Jamila Tukur were suspended for three months last year for undisclosed reasons.
