Senator Ishaku Abbo (Cliff) who is representing Northern Adamawa District has disclaimed a story credited to his name over the last verdict against him by the state high court.
Abbo in an interview with TG NEWS refuted that the story is not coming from him but from some of his over zealous aides who did not seek clearance from him before going to the press.
Abbo has seen reprimanded them for issuing unauthorized statements and has also barred them from handling any of hid social media handles over the sensitive matter.
Abbo while making clarity over the purported story averred that judges and lawyers are hard working people who stay awake, making research and writing judgements for the innocence must be praised by whatever outcome of any given judgment.
He believe that the court is the last hope of ordinary man therefore directed none of his aides will issue any statement on sensitive issues without his authority.
He is therefore confident that the matter before a court of appeal will be upturned in his favor because the state court has no jurisdiction to handle the matter.
Recall that Adamawa State High Court sitting in Yola in a judgment barred Cliff from participating in the 2023 senatorial election.
