CCEO commences a 3-day conference for Christian workers in Yola

A three-day conference is ongoing for Christian workers in Jimeta-Yola, Adamawa State at the St Monica Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN) Cathedral Nassarawo.

The Program which was organized by the Leadership of Christian Chief Executive Officers Fellowship (CCEO) is to equip Professional career-driven Christians for living a life of transformation in their respective areas of service to the nation.

The Program with the theme: “Let your light so shine” with a root base of Matthew 5: 16 as the main focus of the bible verse is having Prof. Felix Ilesanmi as the guest speaker.

Mr Yusuf Amos Sunday who is coordinating the program said It is a program specially dedicated to Special Professions who are believers in Christ brought together in their various workplace clusters.

According to him Security, Academia, Medical, Legal, and Media practicing people are among the clusters of why the CCEO is formed.

He also said Civil Service, Politicians, Christian businessmen and Women, the Ordained Ministry, and the next generation (children and youth) are all parts of the CCEO Fellowship.

Day one of the Event was monitored by our Correspondent who reported that the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the General News (TGNEWS), Tom Garba opened the program with congregational opening prayers.

Men of the Military, Police, Immigrations, NCDSC, Customs, Chaplaincy, and Politicians of high-profiled ranking graced the occasion, and praises, and worship in songs were powerfully led by men of the Nigerian police force, customs, and Civil defense.

The Speaker, Prof Felix Ilessami who is the Chaplain Trinity Chapel, Modibbo Adama University Yola (MAU), Adamawa State charged them to allow the glory of God to shine in their respective areas of service to the nation.

He urged them to remain good ambassadors of Christ wherever their place of calling was as they discharged constitutional duties to the nation.

According to him, a good Christian must live a transformational and their actions and inactions are the lights that will radiate and illuminate society to show that they are the sons and daughters of God.

The fellowship of Adamawa state workforce clusters started the conference yesterday and it will end 9th 9th December 2023 at 4:30 pm Daily.
