It was a two days of desterity, gratitude, celebration and culture at its best, when the Mbula Nation rolled out their drums to celebrate the maiden edition of NNOMA-JHAR NATIONAL DAY in Borrong in Demsa local government area of Adamawa state.
The occasion brought together the Mbula sons and daughters from all over the world, to celebrate oneness, culture and traditions of the Mbula Nation.
The Mbula people are believed to the “BANTU” related people ethnologically group speaking people spread across Africa including Nigeria.
The BANTU people speaks about 500 languages that are closely related with slight versions, according to history, the Bantus can be found in Beune Congo a branch of Niger Congo language family.
For proper understanding of the BANTU ethnic group, an analytical approach to the language opens more windows to appreciate it’s origin
The BANTU language has been estimated to have been spoken about 400years in Western and Central Africa.
Chief Samuel Leneke, a retired civic servant said ” for proper understanding of the BANTU ethnic group, an analytical approach to the language opens more windows to appreciate it’s origin”
Chief Leneke further said the genesis of the Bantus migration in Africa started from the Savannah zone of Sudan where people who spoke language with noun classes which was different in phonology from other Negroid languages.
In Nigeria, the BANTU are found in Adamawa,Bauchi, Plateau, Taraba, Yo be, Borno, Bunuel, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Kastina, Gombi, Jigsaw and FCT.
With this in mind that the NNOMA-JHAR Tribes are all over Nigeria, the 11th Murum Mbula, HRM, Murum Bwaltam Bentley Biyapo, Mboiman 11 set in motion to bring together all Mbula people from all over the world to celebrate the maiden edition of NNOMA-JHAR NATIONAL DAY.
The BANTU are found in Adamawa,Bauchi, Plateau, Taraba, Yo be, Borno, Bunuel, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Kastina, Gombi, Jigsaw and FCT
The irrepressible BANTU and the indomitable hippo of the Beune Valley as the king is called with support from his brother, the Emir of Dass in Bauchi state, HRH, Alhaji Usman Biliyaminu Othman , the Co host rolled out the drums to celebrate one of Mbula finest moments in the history of NNOMA-JHAR.
The Murum Mbula in his speech noted that ” today we have made history by taking steps to build a people that will continue to lift the BANTU NNOMA-JHAR nation”
” We have brought together our brothers from their locations in the about 25 ethnic group of BANTU- NNOMA-JHAR is being spoken, which cut across the North West, North East,North Central and South South of Nigeria”

The maiden edition of NNOMA-JHAR NATIONAL DAY celebration which colourful had some sons, daughters and friends of the Mbula Nation honored with Chieftincy titles among those honored includes the governor of Bauchi state, Senator Balance Mohammed, who was investis as the Talaban Mbula, Chief Lady Alice Ambrose, Chief ACG David Urbantus Rtd. Chief Hon Inuwa Bassi, Chief DCP Stephen Hasso Rtd and Chief Matins Melandi.
Others include Chief Geoffrey Garba retired permanent secretary got the title of Guarkan Mbula, Chief Peter Fwa, Chief Mrs Beatrice Tangwami, Chief Wycliffe Lumsam Fwa and Chief Sir Vincent Adiel.
Speaking to journalists during the celebration, Chief Geoffrey Garba commend the planners and the traditional council for bringing Mbula sons , daughters and friends of the Mbula Nation to have one voice.

There were lots of traditional cultural displays and horse displays to show the worrior nature and independent attributes in farming and fishing of the Mbula people.
