A Christian elder statesman who is a strong Member of the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria (CBN) which is well known as Ekklisiyar Yan’uwa a Nigeria (EYN), Chief Emmanuel Bello welcomes the enthronement of Dr Daniel Mbaya as the new President of the Orthodox Church that dominated most of North Eastern States of Nigeria.

Chief Bello who is also a critical stakeholder in the Adamawa political space congratulated Dr Mbaya and extolled his call as a sound Pastor of the Church which has never come to him as a surprise and ascribed the enthronement on the 1st of June as ‘God’s doing and marvelous in his sight.’

The SDP Gubernatorial candidate in 2015 said Mbaya’s enthronement made a new beginning for the EYN Church after the bastardization of the Pulpit by Agents of tribal bigotry and circusy.

Emma thanked God for the emergence of Dr Mbaya as according to him it has awakened the Pastors and Reverend Gentlemen of the EYN Church to fight against tribal bigotry.

He alleged that the past leadership of the EYN Church were obnoxious with their unbecoming behavior, but the new leadership under Mbaya is however become a new chapter that the former leadership can take a leap to consider returning back to the fold.

Chief Emma in his congratulatory statement said Dr. Daniel remains the authentic Man of God with a glorious ‘calling’ of impeccable integrity.

“May i on behalf of my family, well-wishers congratulate Dr. Daniel Mbaya on his enthronement as the President of the EYN (Church of the Brethren) in Nigeria to which we all subscribed and loved.

“May the Almighty God restore the Glory of the EYN Church and sustain the Gospel of Christ in Nigeria.” He stated
