An ace broadcaster and a Veteran Journalist, Chief Timawus Mathias has handed the Yola substation of African Independent Television (AIT) to Bashiru Abdullahi Mayobani as Head of Station.
Mathias, a Media consultant who was consulted to establish the Yola station has on Wednesday confirmed to this medium that Malam Bashiru Abdullahi is now the head of the station.
You would recall that AIT, the subsidiary of DAAR communication was constructed thirteen years ago but is not fully in operational.
The station has staff based in Yola, Adamawa state with Bashiru as one of the pioneer operatives. The Group Managing Director DAAR Communications Mr. Tony Akiotu approved the appointment.
