The Senator representing Adamawa central senatorial zone Sen. Engr Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani (Gimbiyar Adamawa) has call for prayers against the deadly coronavirus.
Binani while commiserating with Christians faithfuls for marking the 2020 Christmas, she called on them to emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ by Loving each other and living peacefully with fellow countrymen irrespective of religious differences.
The Federal Lawmaker, in a Christmas message she personally signed, implored Christians to celebrate the festive period while adhering to COVID-19 prevention protocols.
“I would also like to appeal to the members of the Christians faith to see beyond all artificial divisions including minor ethnic and religious differences in the society and abide strictly with the teachings of the holy Bible as propagated by Jesus christ.
Binani, who also prayed for peace and unity among citizens, also enjoyed all Christians to continue to pray for the state and the country.
“May this auspicious day strengthen the bond of peace, unity and brotherhood across the state and the nation at large,” she said.
