The Christian Media Forum (CMF) has made a passionate appeal to the National President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Archbishop Daniel Okoh, to intervene in the lingering leadership crisis in the 19 northern states.
In a statement signed by its Secretary, Andrew Ibrahim Mshelia, the CMF expressed deep concern over the unnecessary leadership tussle, which has generated embarrassment to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Christian faith in general.
The group urged the warring factions to sheathe their swords and give peace a chance, emphasizing that the Christian community should be a beacon of hope, love, and unity, rather than a symbol of division and strife.

The CMF emphasized that a peaceful resolution of the crisis is possible if all parties are willing to work together in the interest of peace and unity. The group appealed to Archbishop Okoh to use his good offices to bring the warring factions together and facilitate a peaceful resolution of the crisis.
As the Christian Media Forum awaits the intervention of Archbishop Okoh, they pray that God will grant them the wisdom, courage, and strength to work towards a peaceful resolution of the crisis.
