Concerned Stakeholders from Christian organisations group in Adamawa express shock over the death of the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Adamawa State, Alhaji Abdurahaman Abba in Saudi.
Bro Peter T Dantaro, EYN National Youth President who Chaired the meeting described Abba as a seasoned administrator, who has contributed to the success of Governor Bindow administration.
The group condole with Governor Jibrilla Bindow, the family and all the good people of Adamawa State over the great loss.
The group called on citizens of the state to live peaceful regretting the sudden sharp divide amongst various ethnic/religious groups in Adamawa State.
The group called on the Governor to seriously engage interest groups of both religion on a crusade to restore peace, tolerance and mutual understanding in the state.
The National President of the Youth Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) who was present in the meeting, expressed confidence that permanent Peace will surely be restored in not only Adamawa State alone but Nigeria.
He said the Governor is saddled with responsibility to bring the state together and to heed the oath office he took to preserve, protect and defend all Adamawa people. Therefore, all people of Adamawa State must prayerfully support the Governor in his pursuits for lasting PEACE in the state.
