In a special Christmas greetings to commiserate with Christians in Adamawa state,the Catholic Bishop of Yola and Chairman,state chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN),Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Dami Mamza said the birth of Jesus has brought salvation and Peace to humanity.
In his Statement,Dami told Christians that enemies of the state will never over come them because the presence and protection of God will be with them always because of the blessed season
“May those who like King Herod who sought the New Born King for destruction never overcome us through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph and all the Celestial Host of Heaven as they sing “Glory to God in the highest”.”
He further said that the birth of the Baby Jesus ushered in light and joy to Mankind and prayed God’s special protection as they celebrate the season.
“Merry Christmas to you.”
