The immediate past speaker of Taraba State House of Assembly,Rt Hon Abel Peter Diah in a Christmas message has beckoned on the good people of Taraba to pray for the peace ,unity and progress of the state.
Abel call content in a Christmas press letter,enjoining the people to understand that God has provided a means of reconciliation through His son Jesus for the world to be at Peace.
“Thank God another opportunity has being given to rework on our unity through the diverse ethnics affiliation,our diverse religion belief,it is only when we are united that peace and progress will be the glory of Taraba state.” Abel said
The former speaker reminded people in the state irrespective of religion that Peace is a pivot life line of every system that’s always transcending to development.
“Once we give Peace a chance in our lands,towns villages and all our borders it will give our Governor the strength to work and the wisdom to revive the struggling thriving economy.”
Peter who also see leadership as a task entrust on people,calling on them to use the Christmas yuletide celebration to pray for the Governor,Arch Ishaku Darius and all those God willed to be in the place of authority for wisdom to take Taraba to a greater heights.
“I will not fail to remind you that our state need to be secured,and to ensure this security,everyone of us has a responsibility to make all efforts chase away bad elements who are working hard to divide us along primordial basis of religion sentiments are disgraced.
“Let’s be conscious of what,who comes and goes around us,environments and communities because we are all critical stakeholders for a secured Taraba State.
“Above all,share the JOY of this season with people who are nor opportuned, privileged as you are with the little or much you have. Christmas is all about LOVE sharing.” He called
