“It is our solemn responsibility to update our libraries with modern and relevant books and not to depend on obsolete ones.
“Let us resist the temptation of allowing the pews to grow above the pulpits. And if we keep repeating the same sermon time without number, eventually some members will move out to look for a greener pastures..” Billi said.
He also tasked the new pastors on the need to persevere and shun inciting preachiness.
“We must love as Christ loves us, and forgive as Christ forgive us. Unity should be our watchword in all situations.”

“Let us also correct a wrong impression, the church or rather Christians do not have a political party.
“it is gross misleading to say, this party belong to Christians. Let us diversity our affiliation to as many parties as we could; our solemn responsibility is to vote into power credible people irrespective of their political parties…,” Billi said .
