CIFCFIN Boss, Prince (Dr) Gashinbaki in Attendance as Huba Leadership Pays A Thank You Visit to Gov Fintiri

Prince (Dr) Iliyasu Gashinbaki, President and Founder of CIFCFIN, joined the Huba nation in a heartfelt courtesy visit to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at the Government House in Jimeta, Yola, to express gratitude for the creation of the Huba nation. The delegation, led by Tol Huba, HRH Barr Alheri Bulus, celebrated the governor’s transformative leadership and commitment to the state’s development.

During the visit, Governor Fintiri reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to restoring security and advancing progress across Adamawa. Highlighting his achievements in education, he noted that Adamawa now leads northern Nigeria in WAEC performance, boasting over 80% pass rates.

“When I took office, I prioritized restoring Adamawa’s educational reputation. We built mega schools in every local government area, reducing out-of-school children from 500,000 to less than 50%,” Fintiri said.

HRH Barr Alheri Bulus, speaking on behalf of the Huba nation, lauded Fintiri as “passionate justice personified” for his role in breaking a 120-year “post-colonial domination” by creating new districts in Hong, increasing the total to 14—the highest in the state.

“Your name is written in gold in the heart of Hong Local Government,” Bulus declared. He highlighted Fintiri’s contributions, including attending the first Jumaat prayers in Hong, offering condolences during insurgent attacks, providing land for the Chiefdom building, launching agricultural empowerment schemes, and initiating the construction of a technical school in Hong. The establishment of a forest guard corps to tackle security challenges was also commended.

“We are here to say thank you,” Bulus said, noting that the creation of new districts on February 14, 2025, has rekindled hope among the Huba people.

Governor Fintiri praised the Huba nation for their humility, urging them to take pride in their heritage. “I’m proud of you, the Huba nation. Continue to be proud of yourselves,” he said, reiterating his commitment to prioritizing security, education, and infrastructure to uplift Adamawa.

The presence of Prince (Dr) Gashinbaki, a prominent son of the Huba kingdom, added significance to the visit, underscoring the unity and appreciation for Fintiri’s inclusive governance. As Adamawa confronts challenges like illegal mining and flooding, the governor’s resolute leadership signals a promising future for the state.
