Civic reception: AMANA Honours Vrati, Thanks Tinubu over appointment

True wealth is not measured assets or money, or what one has in the bank, it is measured by the calibre of people that show up for one’s event, to be associated with one’s successes and achievements.

This is the situation in the life of Hon. Vrati S. Nzonzo, the newly appointed Executive Director (E.D), Planning and Design Chad Basin Development Authority (CBDA) Maiduguri, on the civic reception organised by the AMANA Movement (an affiliation of the APC Adamawa State) Numan, Demsa, and Lamurde Federal Constituency.

The event was to honour one of theirs, where they also used the medium to thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for seeing him worthy and the best person to run the affairs of the office.

The event which took place in Lamurde LGA of Adamawa State was graced by high profile personalities and dignitaries of the National and State APC. The occasion was chaired by the APC National Vice Chairman North-East, Comr. Mustapha Salisu Ph.D (Sa’i Adamawa).

In his remarks, the Vice Chairman congratulated Hon. Vrati and assured the great people of Lamurde that about five (5) kilometres road would be constructed, and they would liase with the necessary authority to make sure that is done because is long overdue.

In his welcome address, the celebrant, Hon. Vrati Nzonzo was delighted to see everyone who came to celebrate with him. He expressed gratitude to the President for seeing him worthy of the task and assured that he would serve with every virgo in him.

He solicited for support in every area needed so he could succeed in the office.

Executive Director Chad Basin authority, Alh. Iliyasu Muazu, a colleague of the celebrant, who graced the occasion as a solidarity of his colleagues from Maiduguri, used the medium to also thank Mr. President, and assured the people that together they would unite to work for the Nigerian masses.

He said that Hon. Nzonzo is a force to reckon with and has no doubt that he would make a difference in the office.

Phar. Jesse Chidama, who gave the recitation at the event, said a major number of the vibrant youths of the APC were about leaving the party because they felt the President did not have them at heart until this appointment came, making them change their minds.

He expressed, “They now understand that Mr President has the youth in mind and is ready to work with them for the betterment of the nation. If given another four years, Mr President will reform the system and will benefit”.

Some of the dignitaries that graced the event included Hon. Aliyu Wakili Boya, Member representing Fufore/Song Federal Constituency; Chief Crowther Seth,
former Deputy Governor, Adamawa State; Bar. Idris Shuaibu, Adamawa State APC Chairman; Sen. Binta Masi Garba, former Member, representing the Northern Senatorial District of Adamawa State; Alh. Bello Tukur, Alh Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske among others.
