Former Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Chief Crowther Seth (Nze-snzo Bachama Kingdom), has assured President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of overwhelming support from the Numan Federation in the 2027 general elections.
Seth made this pledge during a civic reception in honor of Hon Vrati S Nzonzo, recently appointed as Executive Director of Planning and Design at the Chad Basin Development Authority (CBDA) in Maiduguri.
Speaking at the event in Lamurde, Seth described Nzonzo’s appointment as a historic milestone, marking only the second time a Lamurde indigene has secured such a high-profile position since the local government’s creation.
This appointment has given us reason to vote massively for President Tinubu
He credited the appointment as a catalyst for galvanizing the people of Numan Federation to rally behind Tinubu’s re-election bid.
“This appointment has given us reason to vote massively for President Tinubu. It’s a conviction that aligns us with the realities of politics and the dividends of democracy,” Seth stated.
Having recently joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), Seth vowed to mobilize the Southern Senatorial District of Adamawa to deliver a landslide victory for Tinubu, who has been endorsed by Nigerian Governors for a second term.
The occasion’s chairman, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, Ph.D., National Vice Chairman (North East) and chairman of TRCN and NAPTIP boards, announced plans for a four-kilometer road project from Lafiyan Lamurde junction to Lamurde town along the Gombe-Yola federal road.
He urged residents to support the APC and Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, which he described as transformative for the nation.
The event drew prominent APC stakeholders, including Hon Aliyu Wakili Boya, member representing Fufore/Song federal constituency and guest speaker; Barr Idris Shuaibu, Adamawa State APC chairman; Senators Bello Tukur, Binta Masi Garba, and Abubakar Moallayidi; Engr Samaila Numan; Hon Yusuf Yakubu Buba (Captain); Mallam Hamisu Medugu, former Speaker and member representing Yola South; Kabiru Mijinyawa, representing Guyuk constituency; Sunday Peter; and former lawmakers and chairmen of the 21 local government areas.
The reception celebrated Nzonzo’s appointment as a testament to the APC’s commitment to rewarding loyalty and competence, further solidifying Tinubu’s support base in Adamawa State ahead of 2027.
