A coalition of Christian Youths under the aegis of “Northeast Christian Youth Network” has called on the former Governor of Jigawa, D.r Sule Lamido to run forth presidency in the forthcoming coming 2023 general elections.
The high-spirited Youth who believed in Sule’s good leadership skills advocated that the former Governor remains a good Nigerian to save the country.
They called on Nigerians to back the movement to compel him to go for the national assignment at this needed time.
Rev.Bobby George Ibi, the spokesman of the coalition who addressed Journalists in Yola, Adamawa State capital said, the Northeast Christian Youth Network is a coalition of Christian Youth Leaders cut across from the Northeast irrespective of their denomination or tribes with the sole aim of promoting unity, advocacy for good of its members, awareness, and enlightenment on religious tolerance and good Governance.
Rev.George at the press conference posited that with Sule Lamido’s provoking profile as former Governor of Jigawa State, former Foreign Affairs Minister, Lawmaker, and Nigerian elders statesman, he is the only Leader that can salvage the country from its present security woes.
“Given the prevailing security situation bedeviling the region, we went on a leadership search ahead of the 2023 general elections and find DR.Sule Lamido worthy for the office of the president”.
He added that “Dr.Sule Lamido is not biased and some of his key decisions on National issues are on common man, he performed well in transforming Jigawa State through aggressive agricultural programs, Security network, and human capital development, that is why we want him to replicate it as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come to 2023” Bobby George said.
The spokesman of the Christian Network who was flanked by representatives from the six states of the Northeast was optimistic and confident that Dr.Sule Lamido is the only formidable candidate in the 2023 general elections.
