The Former Speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Kabiru Mijinyawa has expressed shocked over the demise of an elder statesman and former Federal Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Ahmed Joda who died in Yola Friday.
In a condolence message through his Senior Legislative Aide on Media and Public Affairs, Hon. Hussaini Ahmadu Har, said Rt. Hon. Mijinyawa on behalf of his family and the people of his constituency condoled with the Government, the entire people of Adamawa state and Nigeria at large for the irredeemable lost.

The Former Parliament leader noted that late Ahmed Joda was a true nationalist who died a fulfilled Man for the sake of humanity.
He said late Ahmed was legend who contributed positive to the unity of Nigeria and served humanity irrespective of tribe, region or religious background.
Kabiru revealed that while Ahmed was alive he worked tirelessly and offered counsels and fatherly guidance for the peace, unity, and development of his people, community, the state and the country.
The Lawmaker representing Yola South Constituency in the Adamawa House of Assembly noted that the lifetime of the late patriarch had been eventful, acknowledging the deceased’s contributions to the development of Adamawa state.
He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased especially Hajiya Asma’u Joda over the great loss, praying Almighty Allah to grant him Aljannat Firdaus and give them fortitude to bear the irreparable loss
