The Archbishop of Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN), Most Rev. Musa Panti Filibus, PhD consoled with the family of Dr Obadiah Mailafiya whose death occurred last weekend in Abuja.
The revered Northern Christian stakeholder in a letter of condolence on behalf of LCCN send words of comfort and condolence to the family, his community and nation over this irreparable loss.
“May the lord grant the family and all those who mourn his death the fortitude to bear this loss.” He said
Panti mourned that the death of Obadiah news reached him with great shock and sadness, pains him that the deceased died in the struggle of peace based on Justice and fairness for all.
“Dr. Mailafiya will be greatly missed by all who identify with his struggle for peace based on justice and fairness for all. His death occurred at a time when his valuable contributions to the entire christian body, the traumatised communities and the nation at large are highly needed.
“May the dream of a peaceful Nigeria that he greatly yearned for continue to live on until it comes to fulfilment.” Filibus mourned
